Upright stems of toothed leaves crowd a clay pot ringed with throwing ridges, and there is a small chip out of the rim. The pot is full, and the mint hasn't noticed.
Along the foot of the packet: CONFINE TO A POT, and under it, give an inch · lose the bed · pot it.
For the gardener who gave mint an inch once, and now keeps it in a pot.
